Gracie Abrams makes ‘SNL’ debut: ‘WHAT A DREAM’
Gracie Abrams performs her hit tracks on 'Saturday Night Live'
Gracie Abrams made her Saturday Night Live debut as she appeared as the musical guest on the show.
The 25-year-old songstress performed her hit tracks That’s So True and I Love You, I’m Sorry from her latest album The Secret of Us, on the December 14th episode.
The Us popstar performed against a holiday themed backdrop with a crackling fireplace, candlelight and soft Christmas lights as she opened with That’s So True.
Abrams donned a white shirt and a matching bowtie for the first performance and changed into a long black gown when she appeared next.
As she returned later in the show, the Grammy-nominated singer played I Love You, I’m Sorry.
Following the jaw-dropping performance, Abrams took to Instagram and gushed about her first experience at the holiday show.
Sharing snaps from the evening, she wrote, “live from New York, WHAT A DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you forever @nbcsnl,” in the caption.
This comes after Abrams had an eventful year opening the Eras Tour for Taylor Swift. The popstars became close friends on the tour and gained a Grammy nomination together, for their collaborative song Us, for Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance.
On top of her achievements this year, the popstar has also announced new tour dates for 2025. After touring across Europe in the spring, Abrams is set to headline a handful of arenas in North America next summer, beginning on July 23rd in Boston.
In addition to stops in Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, Abrams will perform at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, before wrapping up the tour on August 26th in Mexico City.
