ATC indicts Maulana Sufi Muhammad of TNSM
PESHAWAR: Amir of the banned outfit Tehreek Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi (TNSM), Maulana Sufi Muhammad was indicted for treason and sedition on Saturday.
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Abdul Rauf heard the case in Peshawar Central Jail where Sufi Muhammad was also present.
The TNSM Amir was accused of sedition over an anti-state speech at Grassy Ground Mingora in 2009.

Six defendants including Sufi Muhammad had been named suspects in the case of whom two have died.
The defendants also include his two sons as well as a commander of TNSM.
Sufi Mohammad is the father-in-law of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah.
