Liam Payne funeral details revealed, ‘service will necessarily be a huge affair’
Liam Payne’s funeral is going to be a “huge affair”.
The former One Direction alum died on October 16, 2024 after suffering a fall from the balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires.
According to reports, “Liam is set to have a ‘lavish service of remembrance’ after his tragic death.”
“Liam will have a very big send off, quite probably at a large cathedral somewhere close to his heart,” an insider reported to MailOnline.
“Liam was so loved by so many people, there will obviously be enormous demand and so the service will necessarily be a huge affair.”
The continued, “The details are still under wraps until they are definitively signed off but should be announced very soon.”
Liam was staying at the Casa Sur hotel in Argentina when he passed away.
He had travelled there to support his former bandmate Niall Horan on tour and even attended one of his performances.
During his visit, Liam met with fans outside the hotel and shared his enthusiasm for Buenos Aires, expressing a desire to someday buy a home in the city he’d grown to love.
