MIRPUR: Guess whose rally DJ Butt is at right now? Not the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but a Pakistan People’s Party rally where its co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto is expected to address a sea of people, reported Geo News.
Once the life of every PTI rally, DJ Butt broke away from the PTI in July 2015 after he alleged that the party owes him Rs80 million.
Speaking to Geo News, Muhammad Asif aka DJ Butt said that he will be introducing two new songs this time, one being ‘Jeevay jeevay jeevay Bhutto’ and the other ‘Bhutto dey naarey wajan gey’ for the Kashmiris.
DJ Butt said the PPP rally expected today will go “unmatched in history”.
While responding to a question, Butt said that the Kashmiri prime minister’s son had assured him that if this rally is successful, he will be asked to perform next time too
He added that Bilawal had been informed of his presence in the rally today. “Bilawal is happy about it, I have been told,” he said.
An 80-foot-long and 24-foot-wide stage has been set up at Mirpur Cricket stadium where the rally is expected. The city has been decorated with the party flags.
The cricket stadium where the youngest Bhutto, Bilawal will deliver an address is the same platform where his maternal grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave a speech in 1973. Benazir Bhutto also addressed a public gathering at the same stadium in 1992.
