KARACHI: The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has announced six-day sit-in protest demonstrations throughout the Sindh against what the party called arbitrarily arrests of workers, especially former Sector In-charge Hyderabad Zone Nadeem Qazi and others.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that Nadeem Qazi and others had been arrested and disappeared for long but never been produced before the court. The sit-in protest will be started from 30th May 2016 and would continue till 4th May 2016.
The first protest demonstration of the series will be held in Hyderabad, Thatta and Sajawal on 30th May, in Mirpurkhas and Umer Kot on 31st May, in Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki on 01st June, in Tando Allah Yar, Qamber Shuhdadpur, Kashmoor and Jacobabad on 2nd June, in Sanghar, Jamshoro, Larkana and Shikarpur on 3rd June and in Nawabshah, Naushehro Feroz and Dadu on 4th June, the statement said.
