KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Qamar-uz-Zaman Chaudhry visited NAB-Karachi and presided over an important meeting in which it was decided to extend the scope of corruption cases in Sindh.
Chairman NAB was briefed about some of the important cases of corruption during his meeting. It was decided during the meeting to enhance the scope of corruption cases in Sindh.
Among the issues that were discussed during the meeting, the corruption case against PPP's former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon was number one on the agenda. Sharjeel Memon is accused of embezzling Rs 4 billion in an alleged advertisement distribution scam.
Qamar-uz-Zaman Chaudhry was also briefed on the corruption prevalent in Sindh police and its investigation.
Sources disclosed that a report regarding DHA Creek Marina's investigation was also presented during the meeting.
