Alisha murder case: courts grants police 2-day physical remand of suspect

PESHAWAR: A local court on Monday granted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police a two-day physical remand of suspect Fazal Gujar, who allegedly killed transgender Alisha.
According to details, the key suspect in the transgender Alisha murder case, Fazal Gujjar was presented today at the court. Fazal Gujjar had been arrested by police the previous day for murdering transgender Alisha in Peshawar.
Fazal Gujjar had shot Alisha multiple times last Sunday. The transgender had succumbed to her wounds at the Lady Reading Hospital, where she had been brought for medical treatment.
Police had been on the hunt for Fazal Gujjar since a week and had finally arrested him on Sunday. Alisha belonged to the trans Action Alliance Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
