Travis Kelce’s former girlfriend is getting candid about her on-and-off-again relationship with the NFL player, revealing the real reason why she would avoid him in public.

Model and sports journalist Kayla Nicole, who first started dating the Kansas City Chiefs tightend in 2017, opened up on Angel Reese’s ‘Unapologetically’ Angel podcast.

Speaking of the footballer, Kayla said, "I’ll probably hit him with, like, a head nod. That’s about it.

"We’ve seen each other in public spaces before but it’s — I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy."

However, she didn't hesitate to heap on praises for her then-boyfriend, admitting it was a good time in her life.

Taking an aim at social media trolls after they attacked her looks, the model said, "I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me. It does, even to this day.”
