KARACHI: Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister for Culture and Tourism Sharmila Farooqi has expressed annoyance over delayed construction work of auditorium of Liaquat National Library in Karachi.
She said the project was to be completed in May 2016 but the Works and Services department has failed to complete the project in the given time, according to a statement issued here on Wednesday.
She said the project will take many months more in completion.
Sharmila during a surprise visit to the site of project said due to delayed process of construction the students and other people visiting library are facing difficulties.
On the occasion she assured students that the problems they are facing will be resolved within next few days.
She directed the in-charge of library to immediately improve the free wifi service in library so that the students can take benefit from it.
