QUETTA: Former Finance Adviser Balochistan Mir Khalid Langov was arrested by NAB Balochistan on Wednesday outside Balochistan High Court.
According to details, Khalid Langov had applied for a pre-arrest bail at Balochistan High Court. However, the High Court rejected Langov's interim pre-arrest bail request, following which he was arrested by NAB.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mir Khalid Langov had resigned from his post after Rs. 730 million had been recovered from Balochistan Finance Minister Mushtaq Raisani's house, a couple of weeks ago. NAB had also recovered local and foreign currency from Raisani's house.
After the incident, Langov had resigned and stated that he would present himself for accountability.
