Victoria gets stern warning from David Beckham about daughter Harper

David Beckham, who is a protective father especially concerning his teen daughter, Harper, has given some strict instructions about her to his wife Victoria.

The former Spice Girl singer and fashion designer is slowly preparing their youngest for the next stage in her life.

However, the former footballer is concerned that his wife will “morph” their daughter into a mini-me, a source told Closer magazine.

“David is concerned that Vic is trying to morph Harper into her,” the insider said. “He’s worried about their teenage daughter not only being thrust further into the spotlight, but also feels she has to grow up too fast because of her famous family.”

The British couple are well-aware of how fame has had an impact on their first three children, which has led them to be more protective of their only daughter.

“Vic and David have seen how affected the boys have been by criticism and backlash growing up, and they’re even more protective of Harper, given girls are typically far more impressionable at this age.”

The insider shared that given David’s concerns, Victoria has “assured David that she is just as conscious as he is about protecting their daughter. She has vowed not to go overboard and keep a healthy balance to ensure Harper doesn’t grow up too fast.”
