Max has offered the first sneak peek into The Last of Us season two, featuring Pedro Pascal and Catherine O’Hara.
On Sunday, August 4, Max released a video showcasing all their new and returning series, including clips from the highly anticipated second season of the acclaimed series based on the popular video game franchise.
Pascal returns in his role as Joel, while O’Hara’s character remains shrouded in mystery.
According to Entertainment Weekly, she is likely portraying a newly created character rather than one from the video games.
In the teaser, O'Hara's character confronts Joel, asking, "Did you hurt her? What did you do?" This is most likely in reference to Bella Ramsey's character, Ellie.
The trailer then dives into an action-packed montage, highlighting not only Joel's actions but also the intense events of the second season.
In response to O'Hara's probing, Joel, with a tear running down his cheek, simply answered, "I saved her."
The Last of Us season one was adapted from the 2013 game, while season two will follow the events of the 2020 sequel, The Last of Us - Part II.
As of now, no premiere date for the upcoming season has been disclosed.
