LAYYAH: A case has been registered on Saturday against three men who allegedly raped a blind girl in Layyah’s Sultan Kot area, the local police said.
According to police, the suspects deceived the blind girl by telling her that they would help her. The suspects then took the victim to a house where they raped her, Geo News reported.
The victim later informed the police about the incident, following which a case was registered against the three suspects in Sultan Kot police station. Police started a search for the suspects.
In 2001, a relative had tried to rape the girl and upon her resistance thrown acid on her which rendered her blind.
The man responsible for the acid attack has been convicted to 14 years in prison.
