ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday said that Punjab s farmers who voted for the PML (N) for the sixth time were now regretting their decision.
Reacting to the prime minister’s address in Mingora, Qureshi said Punjab is facing prolonged power outages while poverty and unemployment have surged in the country.
Pakistan, he noted, has come under heavy foreign debt over the last three years.
The senior PTI lawmaker also questioned the seriousness of prime minister Sharif’s development projects saying that there was no money in the national exchequer to implement the announcements.
To a question, he said that prime minister Sharif should focus on conducting a transparent probe into the Panama Leaks to avoid street protests.
