Sarah Hyland catches live burglary of her home while out of town
Sarah Hyland and husband Wells Adams’ Los Angeles home was burglarised last week in July
Sarah Hyland’s Los Angeles home was burglarised while she was out of town last week.
The Modern Family alum, 33, was able to catch the terrifying ordeal live through her security cameras, according to TMZ.
The outlet reported that the break-in happened around sunset on Saturday, July 27, in Studio City. The burglars reportedly shattered a window to enter the house, triggering Hyland’s security system. She received an alert and quickly checked her cameras, only to see two masked men hastily leaving her home.
Though Hyland immediately called the police, the burglars had already fled by the time officers arrived. The police conducted a thorough search of the premises but found no sign of the intruders.
No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
The exact details of what was stolen remain unknown. Hyland plans to take a full inventory of her possessions upon her return to Los Angeles, which will assist the police in tracking down any missing items.
Hyland shares the home with her husband, Wells Adams, a former "Bachelorette" contestant. It is unclear if Adams was also away during the break-in.
