Kendall Jenner gets real about the perils of rapid rise to stardom
Kendall Jenner has opened up about her struggles with fame.
In a candid conversation on the Anything Goes podcast with Emma Chamberlain, Jenner acknowledged her privileged position, saying, "I'm not gonna sit here and say that I've had the toughest journey."
However, she shared that she has experienced "dark nights" and sometimes finds herself "hysterically crying" herself to sleep.
The Kardashians star explained: "I think I've been extremely fortunate. But I also have had my own set of challenges, whether it's [being] overworked or not getting a job that I would’ve really loved to get."
Jennner admitted to feeling "very lonely" at times, missing "something really crazy" at home, and missing out on family time.
"I've had really dark nights where I've been in random cities and just hysterically crying myself to sleep because I haven’t been home in three months and I've been pretty much alone the entire time," she said.
Kendall continued, disclosing, "There’s been a lot of definite moments where I'm like, 'What is going on, is this all worth it?'"
The super model has expressed her longing to become a mother, stating she "would love" to have children in the future.
In an interview with Vogue, she revealed her desire to start a family, despite being the only sibling in her immediate family yet to have kids.
Jenner hopes to achieve her dream of motherhood within the next decade, while also continuing to shine in her career and public life.
