QUETTA: A bomb blast near a Balochistan Constabulary police vehicle at the Eastern Bypass area claimed the life of a FC soldier and injured five other personnel.
Police sources revealed that the bomb was placed near the edge of the road. Immediately after the blast occurred, the injured FC personnel were taken to the nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police authorities also revealed that at the time of the blast, the mobile was on its usual patrolling routine.
Police and FC personnel reached the site of the blast and cordoned off the area. Evidence pertaining to the blast is being collected. So far, no militant group has stepped forward and claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier during the month, a bomb blast had also occurred at the Eastern Bypass which had targeted a police mobile on patrol.
