Prince Harry ‘regrets’ losing old friends for Meghan Markle
Prince Harry is determined to get his old life back as he fights for security
Prince Harry is “deeply upset” for skipping an event which he would have enjoyed had it not been for his wife Meghan Markle.
Royal author Tom Quinn believes that not only is the Duke of Sussex missing his old life in the UK, he is also sad about missing the wedding of Duke of Westminster, which is being dubbed as the biggest non-royal wedding of the year.
Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, who tied the knot with his girlfriend Olivia on Friday, is also the godfather of Prince Archie and Prince William’s first-born, Prince George.
Quinn told The Mirror that as time is going by, the Duke misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.”
He also noted that his Old Etonian and army friends have “not visited” Prince Harry as they “don’t get on with Meghan.”
Given that there is friction between Meghan and Prince Harry’s friends, the Duke of Sussex is “determined” to get a UK residence amid his UK security case to make sure he can reconnect with many bits of his old life.
Harry and Meghan were evicted from their Frogmore Cottage in February 2023 and the couple cleared out their former Windsor home in the summer of that year.
