Kylian Mbappe signed a contract with the Champions League winner Real Madrid Sunday, as the season concluded, according to Daily Mail.
Last month, the French striker announced on X, formerly Twitter, that he would leave Paris Saint Germain after playing for the Ligue 1 club for seven years.
According to Spanish sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, everything has been agreed between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe and the player had penned a contract with the club.
On X, the Italian journalist said: "Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid... HERE WE GO."
"The saga is finally over. Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of the season. The contract has been signed, and the announcement will be really soon, in the next weeks, but Real Madrid will have one more star in their squad."
The 25-year-old told his supporters on X: "It’s a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and a great honour to be a member of the biggest French club."
Kylian Mbappe commenced his journey with PSG in 2017 and the team witnessed three Ligue 1 titles in 2017, 2018-19 and 2020-2021.
Expressing his gratitude in an emotional video message, he went on to say: "One of the best in the world, which allowed me to arrive here, to have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure, to grow as a player of course, by being alongside some of the best in history some of the greatest champions to meet a lot of people, to grow as a man as well."
