FAISALABAD: Officials of the parking committee beat a motorcycle rider for refusing to pay Rs10 parking charges in presence of traffic police at a market here on Thursday.

The biker was beaten for arguing about overcharging at a motorcycle stand. Officials of parking committee and citizen in presence of traffic police threw punches and kicks at the rider.
Citizens complained that the authorities were overcharging in the guise of parking fees.
