Dax Shepard thinks Taylor Swift wrote her song Wildest Dreams about him years ago
Dax Shepard is a big fan of Taylor Swift along with his wife Kristen Bell
Dax Shepard thinks Taylor Swift has written her song, Wildest Dreams about him.
Taking to Instagram on May 31, Dax posted a video of himself singing along to the pop singer at the Eras Tour concert on Friday.
In the caption, the When in Rome actor said, “It’s not terribly well known, but @taylorswift wrote her song ‘Wildest Dreams’ about me years ago. (He’s so bad, but does it so well - duh).”
“I have tried to explain this to my daughter, but she has remained skeptical,” remarked the 49-year-old.
Dax, who shares two daughters with wife Kristen Bell, mentioned, “I think the fact that Taylor Swift played it at the show we attended says it all.”
“I present this video and rest my case,” he concluded.
The Hit and Run star previously opened up about his love for Taylor and revealed he became a big fan after watching her Miss Americana documentary, which aired on Netflix in 2020.
“It’s a very good documentary and I decided I’m gonna buy all her songs,” he admitted on an episode of his Armchair Expert podcast in February 2020.
Dax mentioned, “I’m really looking forward to watching the Taylor Swift one with the girls because it really explores relying on other people’s approval for your own self-esteem, which I think we all tend to fall into.”
“Also, the eating stuff is really important here. Good for her for including that. She didn’t need to do that,” remarked the actor.
Meanwhile, Dax isn’t the only fan of Taylor, his wife Kristen also attended the Eras Tour last summer at SoFi Stadium in L.A.
