KARACHI: Karachi Police and law enforcement agencies claimed to have arrested an Indian agent belonging to the Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) during a search operation on Saturday, near Jamshed Quarter area, Geo News reported.
Police and other law enforcement agencies carried out a search operation in the area based on actionable evidence, resulting in the arrest. The Indian spy has been identified as Arshad.
According to sources, the suspect came to Pakistan in 2011 and has visited foreign countries approximately six times. Police recovered three mobile phones, 10 SIM cards, an internet device, a laptop and classified documents from the suspects’ possession.
Sources further added that the suspect had contacts in India, whom he used to contact over the internet.
The suspect was shifted to an undisclosed place for further investigation.
