Kate Hudson announced her upcoming debut album Glorious on Wednesday, April 17, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
According to PEOPLE, fans have been full of excitement after waiting for a glimpse into Hudson’s music.
The album that is slated to release on May 17, promises to satisfy the listeners with authentic experience.
Speaking candidly about her album, the 44-year-old actress revealed that it is "more real to me than anything I’ve done in my entire life."
She further continued on the subject, adding: "I wanted something that was sexy and delicious, vulnerable and strong, willing and fearless – and especially gloriously in love with the way life takes you on this journey if you’ll just show up and be open."
"I wanted songs that could reach across all that, and that is a lot to cover."
The former Glee actress revealed that she had spent in years, "quietly making music and living inside the songs" ahead of planning their release.
She broke the news to her fans through a post on Instagram, alongside caption that read: "I have been waiting so long to finally say this … My album, Glorious, will be out May 17."

For the unversed, Glorious is slated to mark the singer’s second venture in the industry, following the release of her debut single Talk About Love back in January 2024.
