LAHORE: Two smugglers were killed in exchange of fire with Punjab Rangers in Batapur, the border area of Lahore.
Police sources said at least two smugglers were crossing Ghondi border in Batapur when the security forces ordered them to stop. Instead of complying with the orders, the suspected smugglers resorted to fire.
In retaliatory fire, both the accused were killed.
Large number of wine bottles was seized from the custody of the suspects.
