Lily Allen believes Beyoncé did some work done for her beauty during podcast interview
Lily Allen has recently called out Beyoncé’s over her youthful appearance during an appearance on Miss Me? podcast with BBC Sounds.
On Thursday, Lily spoke to Miquita Oliver about Beyoncé's age-defying beauty, as the former claimed popstar had some work done to maintain her youthful look.
Miquita said, “Beyoncé does look great, she makes turning 40 exciting.”
To which Lily replied, “Yeah but, she's getting some help.”
Miquita remarked, “She has not had any work done if that's what you're implying!”
Later, Lily stated, “I didn’t say that but she's got a great stylish, great hair people, she works out, got the access to the best personal trainers in the world... she's Beyoncé.”
Addressing Beyoncé’s new country music album, Lily further said, “It's quite an interesting thing to do when you're trying to tackle a new genre and you pick the biggest song in that genre. I mean you do you Beyoncé.”
She pointed out, “I think it's been quite calculated. I feel like when Jay-Z got up at the Grammy's, that was part of this campaign. She was wearing the blonde wig, a cowboy hat and he done that wig.”
“It was about challenge the institution and now she is the most played woman on country music,” mentioned the 38-year-old.
Reflecting on country genre, Lily added, “I'm here because I love country music and always have done, not saying Beyoncé doesn't but I tell stories in my music and that's what country music is.”
