Cristiano Ronaldo back in Portugal after replacement warning, shows off his insane muscles
Al Nassr player is back with Portugal after missing friendly against Sweden
Cristiano Ronaldo is back with the Portugal squad after receiving a clear message from the team that he could have been replaced if he didn’t participate in their friendly.
Before a clash with Slovenia, he showed off his insane leg muscles in an Instagram upload, according to Goal.
Confirming that he is back with the squad after missing their 5-2 win over Sweden, Ronaldo uploaded a story to Instagram with a montage of training pictures.
To recuperate from his exertions in the Saudi Pro League, Roberto Martinez allowed the Al-Nassr star some extra time off.
As a result, Ronaldo embarked on a vacation to Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, Bruma became the first player to wear the No 7 shirt for Portugal instead of the Nassr star since 2007 in Ronaldo’s absence.
It is still to be seen if Bruma will get on against Slovenia now that Ronaldo has returned. He scored in the thumping win over Sweden.
Ahead of the clash with Slovenia, Ronaldo will continue his training.
At the European Championship in Germany this summer, he will also hope to be involved with Portugal facing the Czech Republic, Turkey and a play-off winner in the group stages.
