KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has claimed that senior party leader Dr Farooq Sattar’s coordinator Aftab Ahmed has died in Rangers custody.
In a tweet, MQM leader Wasay Jalil claimed that Farooq’s coordinator died in the custody of paramilitary force.

Later, speaking to media, MQM leader in the Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan also claimed Aftab's death under custody. He demanded a medical board be constituted to thoroughly investigate the death of the MQM worker.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.
Aftab Ahmed was reportedly detained by law enforcement personnel in plainclothes during a raid near Mukka Chowk in Federal B Area on Sunday evening.
Anti-terrorism court on Monday remanded Aftab into Rangers custody for 90 days.
