QUETTA: At least five personnel of Balochistan Constabulary were wounded in an explosion at eastern bypass on Tuesday, police said.
According to details, Balochistan Constabulary Rapid Response Force patrolling van hit the explosives, planted along the roadside, early on Tuesday. As a result five personnel including driver sustained injuries.
The injured personnel identified as Muhammad Tariq, Shahnawaz, Ramzan, Liaquat Ali and Muhammad Javed were rushed to CMH Quetta.
Earlier, there were reports the blast occurred near the police van and at least five police personnel were injured.
