KARACHI: Sindh Inspector-General of Police AD Khawaja has directed the police officials to ensure alert security on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj throughout the province.
He instructed the DIGs to ensure effective security measures on district level especially around mosques, open grounds, seminaries, and congregations.
Moreover, random snap checking and enhanced patrolling in sensitive areas of the metropolis were also ordered. He also directed the physical search system should be ensured around the mosques with cooperation of their administration.
