PESHAWAR: At least 13 people were injured when unidentified motorcycle riders threw a hand grenade in a busy city area here late on Sunday night.
According to SP Cantt Kashif Zulfiqar, the blast took place outside a private guest house in Tehkal Bala area of the city. He said two unknown motorcycle riders hurled the hand grenade.
At least 13 injured people were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital, said SSP Operations Abbas Majeed Marwat, who confirmed the incident in Tehkal Bala neighbourhood.
Marwat claimed the two suspected attackers were arrested and the nature of the explosion was being ascertained.
