KARACHI: Acting Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi called on Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House on Thursday and exchanged views for further strengthening the ties between two countries in different sectors.
On the occasion, the Acting Consul General invited Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari to participate in social welfare projects of UAE carried out.
He specially invited Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari to participate in “The Mother of UAE H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al-Nahyan Programme” and also run the programme in Pakistan with her support. The Programme is working in the fields of provision of education, food and health sectors.
Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi also extended invitation to Aseefa Bhutto Zardari to become Ambassador of Anti-Polio Programme Pakistan, which is monitored by United Arab Emirates and requested cooperation in this regard.
He further said that Bhutto and Al-Nahyan families have old relations and the ties between the two countries will be further strengthened.
