NEW DELHI: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Tuesday arrived in New Delhi to attend “Heart of Asia” conference, Indian media reported.
Aizaz Chaudhry will also formally meet his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in New Delhi today.
The meeting between Chaudhry and Jaishankar is expected to take place at around 10:00 a.m.
According to Indian media reports, Pakistan and Indian foreign secretaries will discuss bilateral ties besides resumption of dialogues suspended following Pathankot airbase attack.
Pakistan is playing a key role in the Heart of Asia conference. Aizaz Chaudhry will represent Pakistan in the summit, being attended by the representatives of China, Russia, Afghanistan, Iran and India.
