Three SEPCO feeders at Khairpur declared free from load shedding
Federal Secretary Water and Powers Muhammad Younus Dhaga, during a visit to Khairpur last month, announced that three feeders of Khairpur city including Khaki Shah, Ram Puri Darghah and Radio Pakistan will be declared free from load-shedding from April 16, 2016 because of low theft and low arrears of bills.
KHAIRPUR: SEPCO Saturday announced that their three feeders of Khairpur were declared free from load shedding.
According to detail, the Federal Secretary Water and Powers Muhammad Younus Dhaga, during a visit to Khairpur last month, announced that three feeders of Khairpur city including Khaki Shah, Ram Puri Darghah and Radio Pakistan will be declared free from load-shedding from April 16, 2016 because of low theft and low arrears of bills.
But due to delay and slow process work by the local SEPCO authorities, the decision was implemented from April 23, 2016.
Around 80 percent population of Khairpur city get power from these three feeders.
The SEPCO authorities said that if there is no power theft in other districts they too will also be declared free from load-shedding.
Meanwhile, the people of Khairpur have hailed the action of SEPCO.
