RISALPUR: Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was ever ready to give befitting reply to any aggression.
“The PAF is ever ready to give matching response to any aggression of enemy. If any evil eye is cast on Pakistan it will be gouged out,” he said while addressing the PAF 116th non-GD cadets passing out parade here on Wednesday.
Commander of Iraqi Air Force Lt Gen. Anwar Hamid Ameen was chief guest on the occasion.
Aman said that the PAF was playing a vital role in war on terror. “We will turn the country into a cradle of peace and will not rest till the elimination of the last terrorist,” he said.
The air chief stressed that cadets should focus on their educational capability besides discharging their duty.
The presence of Iraqi commander reflects the excellent friendly ties between Pakistan and Iraq, he said.
PAF Sherdils team performed fly past. A smartly turned out contingent of cadets from PAF presented salute to the chief guest.
Pakistani and Iraqi national anthems were also played.
