QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti Thursday said that a serving agent of India’s secret intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) has been arrested from Balochistan.
Talking to media persons here, Sarfaraz Bugti said the arrested man is a serving commander in Indian navy who has been identified as Kulbhushan Yadav.
The Home Minister said Yadav was active in Balochistan with an aim to destabilize Pakistan.
“It has been our contention that RAW has been involved (in creating unrest) in Balochistan,” said the Home Minister.
He said investigation from RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav is being carried out.
He said Yadav was arrested in Balochistan on a tip off from a Pakistan’s intelligence agency three days ago and later he was shifted to Islamabad for investigation.
According to sources, the arrested agent of RAW had links with separatist groups operating in Balochistan, the sources added.
