Turkmenistan President arrives in Pakistan on 2-day visit

ISLAMABAD: President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Islamabad today (Wednesday) on a two-day official visit.
He received a warm welcome upon his arrival. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif warmly received him at the Nur Khan Air Base.
Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Special Assistant to the PM on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi were also present.
A twenty-one gun salute was given as the visiting President alighted from his plane.
During the visit, he will hold talks with PM Nawaz and his Pakistan counterpart Mamnoon Hussain on issues pertaining to bilateral relations and cooperation in diverse fields.
