KARACHI: Police on Thursday claimed to have killed three terrorists in a shootout in the outskirts of the city. Rao Anwar, SSP Malir, said the police raided a house near Northern Bypass on a tip off about presence of some suspects.
He said the “terrorists opened fire on police and were killed when the law enforcers returned fire”.
He said three suspects were killed while another managed to flee, adding that arms were also recovered during the raid.
Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
