CHARSADDA: Police have registered case of Shabqadar town suicide attack as one more injured person succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday, raising the death toll to 17.
At least 16 persons were killed and more than 30 sustained injuries when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the Tehsil Courts in the Shabqadar town of Charsadda district on Monday.
The FIR of the attack has been lodged at Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Mardan police station against unidentified militants on the complaint of SHO Shabqadar police station.
The suicide bomber also shot dead two police constables at the main gate of the court premises before blowing himself up outside the court of the Additional Sessions Judge.
