NA-122: Tribunal to evaluate local commission conduct
LAHORE: The Election Tribunal has wrapped up Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s petition against the local commission.
The tribunal will evaluate the conduct of the local commission and if complaints are found to be true the commission can be reconstituted.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan had submitted a petition against the local commission in the case pertaining to rigging in NA-122.

LAHORE: The Election Tribunal has wrapped up Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s petition against the local commission.
The tribunal will evaluate the conduct of the local commission and if complaints are found to be true the commission can be reconstituted.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan had submitted a petition against the local commission in the case pertaining to rigging in NA-122.
The PTI chairman in his petition stated the election tribunal had formed a local commission to investigate rigging in NA-122. According to Khan the local commission dismissed evidence pertaining to rigging in the constituency and did not scrutinse the votes properly.
Imran added that the local commission through statements in the media tried to create controversy over rigging in NA-122.
In his petition the PTI Chairman had requested that the election tribunal take notice and action against the local commission.
