KARACHI: Police on Saturday claimed to have killed four terrorists in an exchange of fire in Safoora Goth area of the city.
“Four terrorists belonging to Al-qaeda in Sub-continent and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (Lej) have been killed,” said SSP Malir Rao Anwar.
He claimed that the terrorists were planning a major attack in Karachi when police killed them in a shootout.
Anwar said two of the terrorists were identified as Sohail alias Kanga and Noman Akhtar. He said the suspects were also involved in the killing of police officers.
