LAHORE: The Lahore Metro bus service has been suspended till further orders due to security concerns.
All Metro buses have been shifted to Gajju Matta metro bus depot.
The decision was taken at meeting chaired by the chief secretary and attended by the DCO, the commissioner and other senior officers.
A spokesperson for the metro bus service said that service would be restored till 5pm in the evening.
On the other hand Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashud told media that the metro bus service has been suspended for two days.
Sources said that the service has been suspended on the basis of intelligence reports which said that terrorists could target the metro bus service.
