BIRMINGHAM: Pakistani activist for female education and youngest ever Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai on Monday congratulated Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy for winning second Oscar, expressing the hope that the government would introduce effective legislation against honor killing.
Speaking by telephone, she said the entire Pakistani nation was proud of Sharmeen Obaid and grateful to her for raising voice for women rights.
