Kinnaird Academy students captured the issue of Traffic Police and Gaming CafÈ in Lahore in their documentaries. The students of Mass Communication Department of Lahore College developed documentaries on Kidney Selling, Problems Faced by Working Women and Boltay Haath (Palmistry) while FC College University students discussed role of Female Guard, Life of a Gardener and situation in Mental Hospital in their documentaries.

The students and teachers also discussed various strategies to engage youth more actively in promoting peaceful practices to eliminate social problems. The participants discussed Pakistani youth’s needs to be linked up with international community using innovative methods such as video conferencing and internet TV.

Similarly, educational institutions need to strengthen theatre amongst their students as an advocacy and awareness tools.

There should be more theatre clubs stirring critical thinking amongst youth so that they can play an active role in social and political development. IRC also gave orientation on IRC-Net. TV web-link developed to promote work of talented youth of Pakistan.
