Karachi

The caretaker Sindh home minister, Brig. (Retd) Akhtar Zamin, has taken strict notice of the complaints regarding registration of fake FIRs against the political activists in Sindh after the recent violence and riots.

Zamin said that the political activists and people belonging to various segments of the society contacted and apprised him about the filing of fake FIRs. The minister assured the complainants that no injustice would be tolerated against any political activist or individual. He added that FIRs registered during the recent incidents of violence would be reviewed and those found wrong would be withdrawn.

Zamin advised people to inform the Home Ministry about the registration of fake FIRs against them, so that their complaints could be redressed with immediate effect.

He directed the PPO Sindh that those found damaging and torching government and private properties should not be pardoned.
