THE PML-Nawaz has decided to reorganise the party in the Punjab and hold conventions and meetings at district level. It was decided at a meeting of the provincial body of the party Thursday with its president Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa in the chair.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting, Khosa said that the party had decided to expedite reorganisation after it faced defections. He said that it had been decided that no lota would be allowed to rejoin the party because they caused damage to the party and the country by leaving democratic traditions for the sake of a dictator.

He dispelled the government propaganda that PML-N workers and leaders had anything to do with the violence on The Mall on February 14, adding that the rulers imprisoned them for victimisation.
