HANGU: A coronavirus patient was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Hangu on Saturday, senior official of district administration said.
Talking to media, Deputy Commissioner Orakzai tribal district, Wasil Khan Khattak, said that 35-year-old Said Hassan arrived home in Gado village in Kalaya tehsil from Iraq via Karachi and Islamabad airport last week where he was feeling sick.
He was shifted to a hospital in Kalaya and sent his report to laboratory test, the official said, adding that after his positive report of coronavirus the patient has been shifted to the isolation ward. He said that 10 members of his family had also been admitted in the hospital for quarantine and would be discharged if their reports came negative. The DC said that Gado village had been sealed and the villagers were asked to stay homes.
