The court has set January 16 for hearing.
From JSCL, the company secretary and chief financial officer, and, from JS Bank, the bank president recorded the statements.
According to details, the complaint was filed regarding a private TV channel programme hosted by anchorperson Mubashir. Mubashar and the guests in his programme allegedly passed fictitious remarks about Jahangir Siddiqui, his family and his partner companies. The defamatory comments were given by Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Iftikhar Shafi, Khalil Masood and Muhammad Ali.
