Protests, hunger strikes against SPLG Act 2012 continue all over Sindh

SUKKUR: Protests against Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO) 2012 continued in different parts of Sindh.
The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party (STPP) set up hunger strike camps against the Bill in Qasimabad and Hyderabad. The Women Wing of the STPP, led by Samina Khaskheli, also took out rally against the bill. Hunger strike camps were established, protests rallies were taken out in Sukkur, Digri, Tando Muhammad Khan, Naushehro Feroze and other cities of Sindh.
The people of Naushehro Feroze city took out rallies in which the participants chanted slogans against the bill and the rulers. Business activities, shops, markets were closed while there was also thin traffic on the roads in most of the cities across the province.
