MIRANSHAH: Five persons were killed and several others sustained injuries when a US drone fired two missiles and struck a house on Mosaki village in the Mir Ali subdivision in North Waziristan on Monday night.
Tribesmen in the Mosaki village said four US spy planes were seen flying over the area since Monday afternoon, adding that flames were seen emerging from the house after it was hit by the missiles. “Five charred bodies and some injured people were retrieved from the house almost half an hour after the missile attack,” a tribesman in Mosaki village said. The bodies were burnt in the attack and were beyond recognition.
