Kashmiris protest outside Olympics venue

LONDON: Hundreds of Kashmiris took part in a demonstration outside the Olympic Park Village in London to heighten the plight of the people of Jammu and Kashmir demanding right of self-determination, peace, social justice and re-unification of their forcibly divided state.
The demonstration was organised by nationalist Kashmiri parties including Jammu Kashmir National Liberation Conference (JKNLC), Kashmir Freedom Movement (KFM), Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party (JKNAP), Kashmir Liberation Organisation (KLO) and Association of British Kashmiris to attract attention of visitors from all over the world who are present in East London where the Olympic Village Park is based. Kashmiri protestors on this occasion dispatched a joint memorandum to Lord Sebastian Coe, Chairman of London Organising Committee.
